Por este motivo, ahora publicamos una serie de entradas en nuestro blog que buscan comprender plenamente los imaginarios colectivos que influyen en los creadores en México. Esta nueva serie, titulada “La Magia de los Mexicanos,” tiene como objetivo entender en profundidad el imaginario de las comunidades y pueblos mexicanos. Así, podremos ofrecer mejores servicios en el ámbito de la propiedad intelectual que ayuden a las personas a construir activos intangibles, aprovechando ejercicios creativos propios de sus contextos.
La magia de los mexicanos radica en su imaginación y el afanoso trabajo de sus manos, que los lleva a preparar platillos deliciosos, como enchiladas de pollo o pan de muerto, y a crear artesanías como las muñequitas Lele.
Desde el año 2001, el Gobierno Federal ha impulsado un programa denominado “Pueblos Mágicos,” con el propósito de otorgar este distintivo a ciertos pueblos de México, incentivando el turismo como un medio de desarrollo económico. En IP Consultores creemos que este programa ha sido exitoso, ya que ha permitido a los pueblos y comunidades desarrollar su potencial turístico y ha favorecido la conservación de monumentos históricos y artísticos. El respeto irrestricto por las cosmovisiones de los diferentes pueblos mexicanos es una de las mayores garantías para lograr un desarrollo económico inclusivo y sostenible. Nuestro objetivo es comprender cómo funcionan los imaginarios colectivos de estas comunidades para ofrecer servicios de desarrollo de activos intangibles, a través de la protección de sus derechos de propiedad intelectual.
La magia es un arte que ha acompañado a la civilización humana desde sus orígenes. Desde las canciones hasta los poemas, las culturas ancestrales siempre han otorgado a la magia un lugar privilegiado en sus imaginarios. Durante los últimos siglos, debido a la prevalencia del pensamiento científico, la magia ha quedado relegada al ámbito de la superstición y de las creencias irracionales. La matriz epistemológica de la magia es distinta de la matriz matemática y empírica del pensamiento científico; el pensamiento mágico se basa en las facultades creativas derivadas de la imaginación, lo que no debería de implicar per se una contraposición con la matriz racionalista de la ciencia moderna.
La magia de los mexicanos consiste en echarnos la mano unos a otros al intercambiar nuestros bienes y servicios en lugares tan disímbolos como los tianguis o los mercados.
A partir del desarrollo de la Antropología decimonónica, los especialistas han pretendido explicar de conformidad con bases científicas el pensamiento mágico de las comunidades originarias en diferentes geografías. Las culturas mexicanas originarias no han sido la excepción. La relación entre el ser humano y la naturaleza es uno de los principales aspectos donde el pensamiento mágico es patente. La magia de los mexicanos radica en su imaginación y el afanoso trabajo de sus manos, que los lleva a preparar platillos deliciosos, como enchiladas de pollo o pan de muerto, y a crear artesanías como las muñequitas Lele.
Santa María Amealco
El primer Pueblo Mágico con el que iniciaremos esta serie en nuestro blog es Amealco de Bonfil. La elección de Amealco no ha sido fortuita, sino que se debe a que la muñeca Lele, una de las artesanías consideradas Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial del Estado de Querétaro, tiene su origen en esta localidad. Hoy en día, la muñeca Lele, originaria de la región de Santa María de Amealco, ha cobrado relevancia internacional. Para los queretanos, se ha vuelto parte de nuestra identidad local y un símbolo que, poco a poco, comienza a ser reconocido como parte de nuestra identidad mexicana, al igual que otros bienes intangibles como la música de mariachi, el tequila y mezcal.
La magia es un arte que ha acompañado a la civilización humana desde sus orígenes. Desde las canciones hasta los poemas, las culturas ancestrales siempre han otorgado a la magia un lugar privilegiado en sus imaginarios.
El viajero que llega a Amealco de Bonfil puede encontrar el típico barrio mexicano donde los diversos comercios forman parte del paisaje del lugar. El Centro Histórico alberga los principales recintos públicos, como el Palacio Municipal y el templo de Santa María. Amealco de Bonfil debe su nombre a Alfredo Vladimir BONFIL PINTO [1936-1973], recordado hoy como un líder campesino que ayudó a recobrar la libertad y la dignidad de los lugareños. En la Plaza de la Constitución, hay varios puestos de artesanías donde se pueden encontrar modelos de la muñeca Lele, coloridos y variados, así como de Panchito, su compañero. Ahí mismo se encuentra el Museo de la Muñeca Lele, además de hoteles, un centro de artesanías y los diversos comercios típicos de los pueblos mexicanos.
El andador Juárez es la calle principal que conduce hasta la Plaza de la Constitución, donde se encuentra el Palacio Municipal frente el kiosko. A un costado del Palacio Municipal se alza el imponente templo de Santa María, que data del siglo XVIII. Aunque este templo no fue construido durante la época colonial, es una obra arquitectónica bellísima e impresionante, con su alto campanario que ostenta un bellísimo reloj de torre. Detrás del templo de Santa María está el recientemente remodelado Mercado Municipal de Amealco. Dentro de este mercado, sus naves resguardan a un ejército de comerciantes que ofrecen productos de todo tipo: desde verduras y dulces típicos hasta jarcería y otros artículos para el hogar.
La magia de Amealco se descubre en una zona comercial bullente, llena de cafés, restaurantes, tiendas de artesanías, bancos y otras tiendas. Los amealcences han convertido el comercio en una actividad económica prioritaria en el centro de la ciudad. Esto no es casual, pues los intercambios en los mercados han sido una constante en la historia de México desde los antiguos pueblos originarios. La magia de los mexicanos consiste en echarnos la mano unos a otros al intercambiar nuestros bienes y servicios en lugares tan disímbolos como los tianguis o los mercados.
Santiago Mexquititlán
Cerca de Amealco, se encuentra un pueblo llamado Santiago Mexquititlán que, de acuerdo con el INAH, significa “lugar donde abundan los mezquites”. Al llegar a Santiago, lo primero que se vislumbra es un bello panteón donde reposan los antepasados de los lugareños. Frente al panteón se encuentra el templo del Apóstol Santiago que, a pesar de ser un templo pequeño -en comparación con el templo de Santa María en Amealco- tiene una fachada hermosa y muy bien conservada. Frente al templo se ubican vendedores ambulantes que ofrecen a visitantes y lugareños productos que van desde comida, como las deliciosas enchiladas y tacos, hasta vistosas frutas y verduras.
El respeto irrestricto por las cosmovisiones de los diferentes pueblos mexicanos es una de las mayores garantías para lograr un desarrollo económico inclusivo y sostenible.
La vista desde el atrio del templo es bellísima, pues permite contemplar la laguna al frente, mientras los vendedores ofrecen sus viandas o pesan las frutas y verduras. En cualquiera de los puestos que sirven enchiladas, tacos o gorditas de migas, se puede acompañar de un delicioso refresco Victoria de grosella o de manzana. Asimismo, un producto que se ofrece en varios lugares son las famosas -y deliciosas- tortillas hechas a mano. El maíz, ese ancestral fruto de los campos mexicanos que ha sido la columna vertebral de las culturas mesoamericanas, es el símbolo más claro de la actual cultura mexicana.
Los diferentes modelos de Lele (que en otomí significa “bebé”) también es otro de los productos que se encuentran en los puestos frente al panteón y el templo. La imaginación de las artesanas otomíes que confeccionan estas muñecas las ha llevado a crear desde Leles Guadalupanas hasta Leles Catrinas. La magia de Santiago Mexquitilán se encuentra en las tortillas hechas a mano a partir del maíz que se cultiva en la región, así como en las bellas muñequitas Lele con los pintorescos listones que adornan su cabello.
